Quite Man, Noisy Man – Sorting Through the Run for President

Who Cares, As Long as It Sounds Good?

It is an interesting Presidential Race in the making.  A Young Man, a Racial Mixed Man, a Noisy Man lining up against an Old Man, a White Man and a Quiet Man.

One has waved to the Military as they passed in parade, the other has served to the point of suffering torture at the hands of Marxists rather than forsake his country.

One who’s name on the door in the halls of congress is barely dry, the other who has served extensively in congress with many successes to his name.

We have the Noisy Young Man promising Utopian Idealism with no track record to show more than numerous unwise associations, dealings and the rock-star’s prance.

And we have the Quiet Old Man promising Progress Through Joint Effort, that radical idea that we just can not simply click our heels like the Wizard’s Dorothy to fly ourselves to the world we wish for, rather that we have to earn it and work for it.

We have the Racially Mixed Radical, perhaps even Marxist, contending against the Middle American Pragmatist.

I should mention my support, knowingly, went to avowed Constitutionalist who would not compromise principles to offer up the blood money the American Electorate seems to demand of its Presidential Candidate.

It is an Interesting World.

    Steve,

I’d be particularly curious to learn what “successess” you suppose John McCain has had in his 30 years in the Senate?

I believe your vision is clouded by your party loyalty and the fact that McCain is a decorated veteran.

Neither are great reasons to elect a man President of the US.

Read this article about McCain’s lackluster educational experience, his mediocre military career and his so-so political successes:

Honestly, I don’t believe Americans have had a GREAT choice for President since 1980. We somehow end up with very tepid clowns who are able to maneuver through the “gamed” political process and in the end, voters are always left to choose between the lesser of two evils.

And while that may indeed be the case in this election cycle as well, can you honestly watch this video and conclude that McCain is a better choice to hold the highest office in the land?

Let’s cut the cards — it’s only white America’s inability to vote for a black man that’s keeping McCain in this race.

But I maintain that when it comes to the debates, when America gets to look at these two men side by side and not through the lens of a Karl Rove inspired Britney Spears/Paris Hilton video, the GOP will realize they made a horrible mistake in trusting the ticket to McCain and his support will crumble…

BTW disagree on the inability to vote for a black assessment, rather think the product package “out of the box” not only looses its sizzle, but isn’t much substance either.
